“Delicate Matters” An exhibition of textile work by Hillu Liebelt

Hillu Liebelt is a textile artist who specializes in tapestry weaving. She explores the contrast between delicate textile and hard metal, and pursues fleeting moments of perception. She exploits her weaving technique with precision, conveying a sense of fragile and thrilling tension. “Delicate Matters” will be shown at Platform Gallery in Lancashire and Black Swan Arts in Somerset in 2009.
Hillu Liebelt is also a renowned teacher and taught at Kawashima Textile School and Seian University in 2006.
