Sara Fanelli workshop

Poet Migo Nagomi had been a huge fan of Sara Fanelli for some years when he heard that Hishio would be hosting an exhibition of her work, and suggested that he and Sara do a workshop together. Sara had never worked with a poet in this way before, but was happy to have a go!
Children were asked to come up with a story about an imaginary character, “Hishion”, and make a book out of collage. It was quite a demanding task, but the children embraced the challenge and showed their wonderful imagination and dexterity; they produced beautiful books with a huge array of beasts and creatures.
